Concord School Employee Spotlight: Jane Elliot

Meet Jane Elliot,

Concord School 1st & 2nd Grade Teacher

Jane Elliot, also known as Mrs. Elliot to her 1st and 2nd grade students, has worked with Concord School and Âé¶¹´«Ã½ District for 29 years!


Jane's passion for teaching was inspired by her love for children and her desire to make a positive impact on their lives. She sees teaching not only as an opportunity to share knowledge, but also as a way to continue learning, exploring, and embracing creativity. Her deep commitment to fostering an environment of kindness and growth within her classroom drives her to help students develop qualities that will shape them into healthy, happy individuals. By working in schools, Janet hopes to inspire and empower her students, equipping them with the tools to succeed both academically and personally.

Mrs. Elliot was asked a series of questions regarding her time at Concord School. Below are some of the questions that were asked, followed by her answers.

Q: What is your favorite thing about working in a school?

Answer:  "I have loved the kids, the funny stories and experiences from teaching kids, and the people I have been able to work with".

Q: What have been some of your favorite moments as an educator?

Answer:  "Some of my favorite moments have been watching students go through school and grow up into amazing adults. Also just spending time talking with students and developing special relationships.  I get to laugh every day. Seeing students learn and have fun has been a gift".

Q: What are you looking forward to about this school year?

Answer:  "I enjoy the journey of getting to know the students, watching them grow as learners, and getting to experience special moments with them".

Q: Do you have any additional information that you would like to include in your employee spotlight?

Answer:  "I appreciate all the students, staff, friends, and family who have been with me throughout my teaching experience. I am thankful for the love, laughter, and support. It's been quite a ride!".
