Congratulations, Dusti Wells! 2022-2023 Asthma Champion!

The Vermont Department of Health’s Asthma Friendly Task Force is pleased to recognize Newark Street School as an Asthma Friendly School in 2022-2023 at the Silver Level for implementing and/or enforcing sufficient best practices to reach that level, as listed on the  webpage. We congratulate you on your impressive efforts to make your school as asthma-friendly as possible and thereby help students with asthma avoid triggers, manage their symptoms, avoid missed school days and asthma-related emergencies, and be able to breathe easier while learning.


We are also pleased to recognize Dusti Wells, School Nurse as an Asthma Champion for 2022-2023 for demonstrating exceptional commitment to improving and promoting asthma friendly policies and practices at Newark Street School.
