鶹ý Board Seat Openings

鶹ý Board Seat Openings

January 7, 2025

Hello 鶹ý Families,

Happy New Year! As we move into this new year the 鶹ý District (KESD) finds themselves needing your help and civic participation.

The KESD Board of Directors has several available seats on the board. Although there are some members that are hopeful to return for an additional term there are several open seats that we are seeking candidates for. The towns of Lunenburg, Lyndon, Sheffield, and Sutton all do not have returning representatives and no current candidates.

The process to be placed on the ballot on Town Meeting Day, Tuesday, March 4th is relatively simple. A petition must be submitted to the KESD office or the Town Clerk of the relevant town containing sixty (60) signatures of registered voters. The voters may be registered in any one of our eight district towns: Burke, Concord, Lunenburg/Gilman, Lyndon, Newark, Sheffield, Sutton or Wheelock.

Completed petitions must be submitted no later than Monday, January 27, 2025 to the KESD office or the Town Clerk.

Please reach out to the KESD District Clerk for more information and petitions:
