Newark Street School is Awarded $2,000 in Grant Funding from Kingdom Trails for the All Kids Ride Project

November 28, 2023

We are very excited to announce that Newark Street School was recently awarded $2,000 in grant funding through the Kingdom Trails Annual KT Mini-Grant Program! Below includes details about the program that the grant funding will be used towards.

Newark School: All Kids Ride Project, Awarded $2,000: The Newark School sought to add bikes to their fleet to use for PE, after-school, and experiential learning programs to allow ALL students to ride with a properly fitted bike, with hand brakes that will be safe for all locations such as KT outings and hills within their own campus. The grant funds awarded will purchase four more small bikes with hand brakes so students can easily move from platform striders to pedal bikes with hand brakes. These funds allow the program in Newark to keep bikes in-house without being reliant on borrowing bikes from community neighbors, therefore providing more access to students wishing to learn to bike!

We are very excited to put this funding to good use! Thank you Kingdom Trails for your continued support to Newark Street School, Â鶹´«Ã½, and to the local community!
